Our one hour classes explore architecture, science, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks. Students participate in 6 week sessions focused on exciting themes including Space, Inventions, Famous Buildings, Amazing Animals, Fun Fair Rides and Natural Disasters. Classes follow the Bricks 4 Kidz® motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play with… LEGO® Bricks!

Kids already know how to build with LEGO® bricks, but with a little coaching they can learn engineering, architecture and concepts of physics and mathematics using the plastic components. Students will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Your Current Schools for Spring Term 2024

Instructional content includes concepts of friction, gravity and torque, scale, gears, axles and beams. The material covered in each session will vary depending on students’ ages, experience, and skill level.

All material will be provided. For girls and boys Yr1  – Yr6. All abilities welcome, we can even challenge Master Builders!

• We Learn– Teachers provide a 5-10 minute themed lesson
• We Build– Students build the model of the day with simple step by step instructions
• We Play– Students explore their own creativity through free play time

CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTIONAL CONTENT

Students will work in a lab-type setting using LEGO® bricks with an integrated curriculum based on maths, science and engineering.

GOALS

For children to play and socialise with friends while learning fundamentals of engineering and architecture in a non-competitive setting. To further develop problem-solving skills, provide an opportunity for creative expression and foster an appreciation of how things work.
